Are you passionate about baking and love working with customers? We’re looking for a team member at our family-owned market to manage the bakery counter, bakery product displays and serve customers. Full time position. This will be 35-40 hours per week depending on business needs. This position reports to our Bakery Manager.

What you'll do: Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective way. Our goal is to delight the customer and exceed their expectations!

  • Stock our bakery case with fresh high-quality products ready to offer our customers

  • Provide customer service, including helping customers with their selections, as well as answering customer questions and making recommendations

  • Maintain a fresh and attractive product display by rotating products and stocking shelves with fresh product

  • Ensure correct and helpful signage and pricing in department

  • Support the bakers and decorators, as needed in preparing a variety of cakes and desserts consistently and in a time effective manner

  • Other duties as assigned

Desired work experience

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience

  • Bakery experience ideal, but not required
